Beginner (B3)
Straight Punches
Round Kick
Drill 1: Pad holder calls a number between 1 and 6. Striker will throw that many straight punches or round kicks depending on target.
Elbows 4 and 5
Drill 2: Groups of 3; 2 curved kick shield holders and 1 Striker. Holder 1 calls a number between 1 and 6 and Striker makes that number of straight punches or round kicks depending on target. Holder 2 can give a tap and hold for Elbow #4 or Elbow #5. Striker makes appropriate elbow and follows up with 6 straight punches before returning to Holder 1.
Choke from the Side
Final Drill: Same as Drill 2, but Holder 2 can now apply Choke from the Side at any time as well as tap for Elbow #4 or #5 followed by 6 straight punches.
Intermediate (D3)
Thai Pads
Round 1: Combos 1K-4K add a cross, i.e. 1K= Jab/rear round kick/cross, 2K= Jab/cross/lead round kick/cross. Emphasize landing back in stance in a good position to transition from kicks to punches.
Round 2: Rear uppercut/lead hook/rear knee/lead hook/cross/lead kick
Round 3: Lead uppercut/cross/lead switch knee/cross/lead hook/rear kick
Choke from Behind with a Pull
Bearhug from Behind, Lifting

Advanced (D3)
Defensive Back kick with a Spin (quick review)
Jumping Spinning Back Kick
Focus mitts and Belly pad
Round 1: Free work. All combos ending in a hook (1, 3, 7, 9) finish with a Defensive Back Kick with a Spin
Round 2: Replace Defensive Back Kick with a Spin with Jumping Spinning Back Kick
Round 3: Same as Round 2. Add sprawl on instructor’s call, and 10 hard, fast straight punches when instructor calls “SPRINT!”
