Group of 2, Striker, Padholder. Padholder can cue for either a forward/rear Palm Heel combo + Roundhouse Kick, or RHK + PH Combo.
Front Choke 1-Hand Pluck
DRILL-FINAL: Switch Roles
Groups of 3, Striker, Padholder, Defender. Striker and Pad at one end of gym, defender at opposite end. Striker begins sending all out PH strikes to pad. On “GO!” striker runs down to attack defender. Defender then runs to opposite end, takes pad and padholder begins striking. Instructor can swap combative for RHK at any point.
INTERMEDIATE (C2)
Inside & Outside Slap Kick
DRILL: Cue & Do
Groups of 2, Striker, Padholder. Padholder cues for either slap kick, striker sends then bursts in with straights until padholder tells to reset.
Defense vs. High Front Kick (Redirect)
Bearhug Behind Arms Caught
DRILL-FINAL:
Groups of 3, Striker/Defender, Padholder, Attacker. Defender does same kick/burst combo above. At any point Attacker can apply Bearhug.
SAFETY NOTE: If the defender is striking, be sure to begin hug at shoulders and slide down.
ADVANCED (C2)
SPARRING: Delayed Defender
Groups of 2, A and B. Designate A/B to be able to only cover/avoid strikes for first 10s or 20-30s round. Switch each round.
Mouth of Hand Punch
COMBO: Front Groin Kick + MOH Punch
Overhand Right Punch
COMBO: FGK + MOH Punch + OHR Punch
Gun to the Side of the Head
DRILL - FINAL: Roaming Attacker
Attackers cue for combo above or present gun. Defender reacts accordingly and resets.
