Straight Punches
Advancing Straight Punch
Combo: Left/Right/move back/Advancing Left/Right
Round Kick
Headlock from Behind
Drill: groups of three; pad holder moves around, holding for straight punches or round kick; defender makes the appropriate strike: at any time the third person can make headlock from behind

Hook Punches - work different ranges from very close to extended
Defense v. Hook (extended) - add counters
Defense v. Hook (covering) - add counters
Focus Mitts: Right/cover v. right cross/Right/Left Hook/Right
Inside Defense v. Left with counterattack
Inside Defense v. Right with counterattack (2 punches)
Inside Defense v. Right with counterattack (1 punch)
Drill: Defend straight punches or hook punches, make counters when possible

After Warm up, absorption drills: punches and kicks to body and legs, back and forth, 5-6 strikes each
Review Defenses v. Punches
Review Defense v. low kicks
Sparring: 5 rounds of 90 seconds each round
Review Defense v. medium to high kicks
Sparring: 5 rounds of 90 seconds each, include high kicks
