Hammerfist to the Side
Knees (Regular and Round)
Drill: Recognize the threat. Working in pairs, 1 tombstone pad holder, 1 striker. Striker starts in passive stance, eyes shut. Pad holder moves to either side of striker and verbally gets their attention. If pad holder is presenting the pad, striker delivers a hammerfist to the side followed by knees & combatives to finish the fight before resetting. If striker is not presenting a pad they should be offering a high five or a handshake to their striker.
Choke from the Side
Drill: Same as above, but now pad holders may opt to choke from the side as well.

Review: Back Kick
Defensive Back Kick with a Spin
Tasmanian Devil Drill: 1 striker, 2 kick shield holders. One pad holder stands in front of striker, the other stands behind striker. When the drill starts, striker must deliver a spinning back kick to the pad holder in front of them, set their stance (now facing the pad holder behind) and deliver another spinning back kick to the second pad holder. Pad holders should return to their positions as quickly as possible to allow striker to deliver an unbroken chain of spinning back kicks.

Spinning Outside Slap Kick
Tasmanian Devil Drill: 1 striker, 1 kick paddle (or tombstone pad) holder. Striker starts in fighting stance and delivers a spinning outside slap kick to the pad ending in their opposite stance. From opposite stance, deliver another spinning outside slap kick to return to normal stance. Repeat as quickly as possible until the end of the round.
General Defense vs. Medium to High Kicks
