Ground - Side Position

Ground - Side Kick

Ground - Getting Up from Side Position

Straight Punches (review)

Drill: start on ground in side position; give a kick, get up, then sprint across the room and back; punch non-stop until instructor says "Down!" and the drill restarts. Do three rounds with each person.  FOR MORE ADVANCED STUDENTS you can do a variety of strikes (punches, elbows, knees etc.)

Headlock from Behind

Drill: as above, but have random attackers make Headlock from Behind during the strikes



Review: Front Kick Vertical Target, Groin Kick, Round Kick, Knees (quick review)

Drill: partner moves around the room, gives targets for any leg strike above

Outside Slap Kick

Def. v. Low Round Kick (shin block)

Def. v. Low Round Kick (absorb)

Def. v. Groin Kick (redirect)

Light Sparring: 1 minutes rounds, 30 second rest



Focus Mitts: Left/Right/cover against right haymaker/Right/Left Hook/Right

Gun from the Front

Gun from the Front (Machine Gun Takedown)

Gun from the Front, attacker using other hand to interfere, grab, etc. Defender must either ignore the other hand, redirect it, or make Machine Gun Takedown
