Rotation Drill: groups of 3 -- Person #1 holds a pad for punches at one end of the room; at the other end of the room, Person #2 stands with eyes closed; Person #3 makes Choke Front Push or Choke Behind Push to Person #2; Person #2 defends, then sprints across the room while Person #3 now stands with eyes closed; Person #2 makes 10 left/right combinations, then takes the pad; Person #1 runs across the room and attacks Person #3. They rotate continuously.

(read it a couple of times; I promise it makes sense!)

Striking on the Ground from Full Mount
Drill: Belt Drag -- one person is in full mount on top of a pad, striking, while the partner holds a belt around the striker's waist; at the command of the instructor, the striker jumps up and sprints to the end of the room and back while the partner holds them back with the belt. Do 3 rounds each.
Defense v. High Round Kick (2 or 3 points of contact)
Defense v. Low Round Kick (shin block)
Defense v. Low Round Kick (absorbing)
Discuss making simultaneous defenses (raising the shin and using the arms together)
Vision Drill: defend right round kick high or low; defend left round kick high or low

Review basic strikes after warm up
Striking drill: ROUND ONE - to a tombstone pad, make either left/right combo, one front kick, one round kick, one sprawl/knee; ROUND TWO - to a tombstone pad, make either 2 left/right combos, two front kicks, two round kicks, or two sprawl/knees; ROUND THREE...etc. For an advanced group, do FOUR or FIVE rounds (someone might throw up around the fifth round).
Gun Front
Gun Front (two hand technique)
Drill: one person in the middle, striking a pad; when hit by another pad, he must turn to strike that pad; at any time, a gunman may point the gun at him (from the front); he must defend, take the gun, and then go back to striking non-stop!
