Hey Everyone!
Happy New Year!
I just wanted to make a comment on our intentions for the Daily Lesson Plans for 2013. I know that, as the holidays approached, our posting became a little ragged. Our goal for this year is to post a week's worth of lesson plans in advance. This will give you time to practice techniques and review them with your staff if necessary. This had been our goal for last year, but we just couldn't pull it off.
A short time after this post, you should see lesson plans for the remainder of this week posted, then see next week's lessons posted soon after.
One final note: to keep things simple, we are recalibrating all lesson plans for those of you who follow our Daily Lesson Plans, Monthly Checklists, and the midterm format we provide. We are beginning with checklist A1 for all levels. So the entire year of Monthly Checklists will follow this plan:
BEGINNER CLASS INTERMEDIATE ADVANCED
January A1 A1 A1
February A2 A2 A2
March A3 A3 A3
April B1 B1 B1
May B2 B2 B2
June B3 B3 B3
July A1 C1 C1
August A2 C2 C2
Sept A3 C3 C3
Oct A1 D1 D1
Nov A2 D2 D2
Dec A3 D3 D3
If you are following this pattern, you can offer midterms and/or tests toward the end of March, June, September, and December, and your students will have seen all the material necessary.
If you aren't sure what I'm talking about here, email Erica or me, and we'll be happy to run through the program with you!
