Drill: two attackers; first attacker uses knife; defender makes the defense and attempts to disarm and use the knife to defend himself against the second attacker, who also has a knife.

Combination- Left/Right/Right Elbow Strike
Drill: Light striking on the pad with straight punches; on the pad holder's command ("Go") burst in with Left/Righ/Right Elbow 3x aggressively, then move back out and continue with light strikes.
360 Defense
Choke from the Front (2-handed)
Drill: Start with packages in hand and eyes closed, attacker either makes a choke from front or gives a verbal signal and makes 360.
Intermediate (A3)
Focus Mitts- Hook Punch
Combination- Cross/Hook/Cross
Focus Mitts with Disturbing- Pad holder strikes partner continuously while partner covers and absorbs; when pad holder slaps mitts together, the partner makes Cross/Hook/Cross Combination, then the pad holder goes back to striking. This drill should be very fast and aggressive.
Defense v. Low Round Kick (Absorb & Shin block)
Defense v. Front Kick (redirect & stopping)
Drill: defender eyes closed, vision drill, recognize Low Round kick or Front Kick

Advanced (A3)
Thai pad Drill:
Groups of 3, two with thai pads; striker must make combinations while moving to keep second pad holder "lined up" so the striker deals with one threat at a time; now and then, the second pad holder jumps in and becomes the first pad holder; Black Belts do this from an opposite stance.

Drill: groups of 3; defender eyes closed, Stick- overhead defense or 2 opponents- knife and stick

Front Kick with Advance - fighting and neutral stance; practice both legs
Drill: eyes closed, pad holder pushes the defender; defense reacts with Front Kick with Advance, then continues with additional strikes
Drill: attacker pulls at the defender's wrist; defender bursts forward with counterattacks

Drill: eyes closed; pad holder pushes (as in the drill above using Front Kick with Advance) or pulls hair from the side

Gun from Behind at a Distance
Machine Gun Takedown - practice using Gun From Behind, with the gun held back and the defender forced to go to the deadside.
Practice making this technique turning both directions!
