Drill: groups of 3, palm heel strikes to target, third person gives a verbal signal and burst forward with 360, defender must defend, then turn to the pad.
Knees (quick review)
Choke from the Front (1-Handed)
Drill: Non-Compliant Attacker- Attacker makes Choke from the Front and the defender defends. Once the defender begins to give knees, the attacker breaks off and comes back with a 360 attack.
Intermediate (B1)
Focus Mitts: Hooks and Uppercutts
Drill: groups of 3; make the appropriate hook or uppercut while third person holds up a hand; striker must call out the hand motion.

Add non-compliant attacker as described above
Gun from the Front - attacker grabs gun with his left hand to secure it; the defender must maintain control and continue with counterattacks.
Gun from the Front- attacker tries to punch defender with his left hand as the defender defends. Defender must be sure to keep his chin down.

Headlock from behind
Drill: Groups of 3, large shield; defender starts on their stomach, eyes closed, pad holder moves around and can hold pad anywhere on the training floor. On instructors signal, defender quickly gets up, locates the pad holder of their group, advances towards the pad with non stop straight punches, attacker makes headlock from behind. Reset.

Drill- Groups of 3, Focus Mitts, Kicking shield; Basic combinations on focus mitts, Pad holder with the Kicking shield walks towards striker from either side and gives a verbal signal, striker makes todays combination and gets back to working the mitts.

Drill: Groups of 3, focus mitts; basic combinations, attacker makes choke behind with a pull or gives a verbal signal and makes 360, defender makes the appropriate defense and gets back to working mitts
Advanced (B1)
Stand up & Ground- Thai Pads, 4-2 minute rounds
Round 1- Stand up- Thai Pads- Combinations, include kicks, elbow, knees
Round 2- Ground- Striker; on their back, pad holder mounts or hold striker in side control, striker works to gain a better position, reset.
Round 3- Stand up- Thai Pads - (opposite stance), combinations, kicks, knees, elbows, and sprawls
Round 4- Ground- Striker; on their back, pad holder mounts or hold striker in side control, striker work to gain a better position or submit (reset only after submission).

Drill: partner throws mostly straight punches; now and then, he throws a haymaker punch; the defender should block with 360 defense and make One Arm Shoulder Throw. IF you do not one the attacker's to be thrown, you can make the drill with lifting only, not the complete throw.
