Terms & Conditions of Use
# KMA CONNECT DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP SERVICE AGREEMENT
This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between The Krav Maga Alliance (“KMA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the individual or entity purchasing or using the KMA Connect Digital Membership (“Member,” “you,” or “your”).
By purchasing, accessing, or using the KMA Connect App and its digital content, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
## 1. Description of the Service
The KMA Connect Digital Membership provides access to digital instructional content, including daily lesson plans, technique videos, curriculum resources, training discussions, teaching methodology, and related materials for Krav Maga, StrikeFit, Young Warriors, and other KMA programs.
KMA may add, modify, update, or remove content, features, or services from time to time.
## 2. Free Trial and Recurring Membership
The membership includes a seven-day free trial unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
At the end of the free trial, your payment method will automatically be charged every month, plus any applicable taxes, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
By enrolling, you authorize KMA or its payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until the membership is canceled.
The applicable membership price, billing frequency, trial period, and cancellation instructions will be displayed before purchase.
## 3. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation will prevent future charges and will generally take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access through the end of any period for which you have already paid, unless your access is terminated for a violation of this Agreement.
Payments are nonrefundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise in writing by KMA.
If a payment fails, KMA may suspend or terminate access until payment is successfully completed.
## 4. Ownership of Content
All content made available through the KMA Connect App—including videos, lesson plans, instructional materials, written materials, graphics, curriculum, demonstrations, recordings, discussions, teaching methodology, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property—is and remains the sole property of The Krav Maga Alliance or its authorized licensors.
This includes instructional videos presented by John Whitman and other KMA instructors, as well as all associated techniques, explanations, demonstrations, breakdowns, and teaching resources.
Your purchase of a membership does not transfer ownership of any KMA content to you. No ownership rights are granted or implied.
## 5. Limited License to Use the Service
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and payment of all applicable fees, KMA grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the KMA Connect App and its content for your own personal or internal instructional development.
If you are a qualified instructor, you may use the information and concepts learned through the service to help prepare and teach your own classes. However, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, or present KMA’s actual materials as your own.
This license ends immediately when your membership is canceled, terminated, or suspended.
## 6. Prohibited Uses
Without the express prior written permission of The Krav Maga Alliance, you may not:
1. Copy, download, reproduce, photograph, screen-record, or otherwise capture any content;
2. Share, transfer, loan, sublicense, or disclose your account or login credentials;
3. Sell, rent, lease, license, publish, distribute, or commercially exploit any content;
4. Upload, transmit, or provide any content to another website, platform, database, artificial intelligence system, or third-party service;
5. Create derivative works, compilations, courses, manuals, seminars, or instructional products based substantially on KMA content;
6. Use KMA content to train instructors or staff outside the scope of your authorized membership;
7. Remove copyright notices, trademarks, watermarks, or other ownership notices;
8. Use KMA content to compete with KMA or misrepresent your affiliation with KMA;
9. Scrape, harvest, reproduce, or systematically collect content from the KMA Connect App;
10. Circumvent security features or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its content; or
11. Permit anyone other than the authorized subscriber to access the membership.
Any unauthorized duplication, sale, sharing, distribution, or commercial use of KMA content is a material breach of this Agreement.
## 7. Permission Requests
Requests for written permission to reproduce, distribute, teach, publish, modify, or otherwise use KMA content outside the limited license granted by this Agreement must be submitted to:

Permission is valid only if provided in writing by an authorized representative of The Krav Maga Alliance.
## 8. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.
You agree to notify KMA immediately if you believe your account has been accessed or used without authorization. KMA may suspend or terminate accounts that are shared, misused, compromised, or used in violation of this Agreement.
## 9. Physical Training and Safety
The KMA Connect content is intended for educational and instructional purposes only. Martial arts and physical training involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, disability, or death.
You are responsible for determining whether a particular exercise, technique, or training activity is appropriate for you or your students. Practice should be conducted safely, with appropriate supervision, training partners, protective equipment, and medical clearance when appropriate.
KMA does not provide medical advice through the service and does not guarantee any particular training, fitness, self-defense, or performance result.
## 10. Disclaimers
The service and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. KMA does not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for every user or training environment.
KMA may modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the service at any time. KMA will not be responsible for losses caused by interruptions, technical failures, internet problems, third-party platforms, or unauthorized access beyond KMA’s reasonable control.
## 11. Termination
KMA may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you:
* Violate this Agreement;
* Share or misuse your account;
* Reproduce, sell, distribute, or otherwise misuse KMA content;
* Fail to pay applicable fees; or
* Engage in conduct that harms KMA, its instructors, affiliates, members, or platform.
Upon termination, you must immediately stop accessing and using the service and must delete any unauthorized copies or materials in your possession.
Termination does not eliminate any rights or obligations that arose before termination, including KMA’s intellectual-property rights and any payment obligations.
## 12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KMA and its officers, directors, instructors, employees, affiliates, licensors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KMA’s total liability arising from this Agreement will not exceed the amount you paid to KMA for the membership during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
## 13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KMA and its officers, directors, instructors, employees, affiliates, licensors, and representatives from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses—including reasonable attorneys’ fees—arising from:
* Your use or misuse of the service;
* Your violation of this Agreement;
* Your violation of another person’s rights; or
* Your unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or commercial exploitation of KMA content.

KMA’s collection and use of personal information is governed by its Privacy Policy, available at https://www.kravmagaalliance.com/privacy/
## 15. Changes to This Agreement
KMA may update this Agreement from time to time. Updated terms will be posted through the KMA Connect App or otherwise provided to you.
Your continued use of the service after the effective date of revised terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, KMA will provide notice as required by applicable law.
## 16. Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Any legal action arising from this Agreement must be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
## 17. General Provisions
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and KMA regarding the KMA Connect Digital Membership and supersedes all prior agreements concerning the service.
If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
KMA’s failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.
You may not assign or transfer this Agreement or your membership without KMA’s prior written consent.
## 18. Acceptance
By clicking “I Agree,” purchasing the membership, beginning the free trial, or accessing the KMA Connect App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Service Agreement.
