NOTE ON THESE LESSONS: This set of lessons leans a little more heavily toward the "Fighting Injured" theme. If that doesn't suit your current needs, please refer to any previous lesson plan. Even if you aren't doing a "Fighting Injured" theme, I recommend the ice training described below!

ADVANCED CLASS (D3)
Muay Thai clinch -- work movement, add knees...and then try these things with marbles in one shoe.
Zombie Drill -- multiple attackers; for lower level students, just have the attackers be "zombies"; for higher level students, include 360 Defense and/or Inside Defense; perform these techniques with simulated injury to one leg
Gun from the Front (2 hand technique) - perform this technique with an injury to one leg; discuss the desirability of the 1-Hand Technique, but the need for the 2 Hand Technique if you cannot burst forward effectively.

Dear Affiliates and Instructors,

This week, at KMA Headquarters, we are doing "Fighting Injured" week.  For this reason, you might see a theme in the lesson plans that involves fighting with one hand, or working from positions of serious disadvantage.

I've tried to design the lesson plans so that you can disregard the "theme," if you wish.  You are certainly NOT obligated to do "Fighting Injured" just because we are doing it!  However, you might find some of the basic drills interesting.

For more elaborate "Fighting Injured" ideas, please visit the Affiliate Resources section and download the "Fighting Injured" curriculum.

Thanks!
