Left/Right Combination
Drill: pad holder calls out an even number (2, 4, 6, etc); puncher makes that many punches; focus on hip turn with every punch. Most numbers should be 2, 4, and 6. Sometimes call out high number.

Basic combatives review
Drill: Pile of Pads (one pad for each pair in the middle of the room; students start at either end of the room; on instructor command, they rush forward to get a pad; if you get a pad, hold for punches OR kicks; if you don’t get a pad, punch or kick as appropriate; make the rounds very long, so people get exhausted! NOTE — there is a safety concern with rushing forward; instead of running, you can tell the students to crawl or crab walk)

Drill: eyes closed, either knife attack or gun threat
