Straight Punches
Drill: spring-push up drill
Combo: Left/Left/Right/Left/Right
Hammerfist to the side
Choke from Behind
Drill: groups of 4; monkey in the middle with two pad holders; defender makes hammerfists and straight punches; now and then, the fourth person does Choke from Behind.

Focus Mitts: Right Uppercut/Left Hook/Right Cross
Focus Mitts: Left Uppercut/Right Cross/Left Hook
Review Choke from the Front (1 hand)
Ground: Choke from the Side – teach both kicking and arm bar

Warm up hands with basic punching
Tabata Straight Punches – 20 seconds on/10 second rest; 8 rounds
Warm up legs with basic kicks
Tabata Kicks – 20 seconds on/10 second rest; 8 rounds – pad holder should decide on groin kick, round kicks, front kick vertical target, using one kick only for each round
Gun from the Front Review
Gun from the Front, Kneeling Position
Drill: punching or kicking, gunman from distance orders defender to kneel, then approaches; defender must make the gun defense from a kneeling position
