BEGINNER CLASS (LEVEL 1, YELLOW BELT)

Left/Right Combination
Drill: partner calls out even numbers (mostly 2, 4, 6) and striker makes that many punches, leading with forward hand. At least twice during the round, the partner calls out a number higher than 10. Make sure strikers engage their hips and legs to create power.
Front Kick Vertical Target
Ground Position – Back
Ground Position – Movement
Ground Position – Front Kick
Get Up From Ground
Drill: Ground Position and Movement against partner holding a pad; when the partner moves in, the defender kicks the pad; if the partner moves back after the kick, the defender gets up; as the defender gets up, the partner moves forward again, and the defender makes Front Kick Vertical Target and straight punches as appropriate; then reset

INTERMEDIATE CLASS (LEVEL 2 & 3, ORANGE & GREEN BELT)

Focus Mitt Combination: Right Uppercut/Left Hook
Focus Mitt Combination: Right Uppercut/Left Hook/Right Cross
Focus Mitt Combination: Right Uppercut/left Hook/Right Cross/Side Step to Left/Right Cross
Bearhug from the Front – Arms Free (space and base)
Bearhug from the Front – Neck Leverage
Drill: eyes closed; partner either pushes, defender opens eyes and makes punch combination OR partner attacks with Bearhug and defender must defend appropriately.

ADVANCED CLASS (LEVEL 4-6, BLUE,BROWN & BLACK BELT)
Kick Combination: front kick, round kick (same leg)
Kick Combination: round kick, side kick (same leg)
Advanced Kick: jumping front kick
Gun from the Front – Two-Handed (cupping) technique
Knife Threat – defend to live side
Drill (for conditioning) — multiple jumping front kicks to tire the legs, then gun or knife threat
