Retreating Straight Punch
Groups of 3, Striker, Pad1, Pad2. Striker begins facing Pad1. As Pad1 advances, Striker sends Retreating Straight Punch. Pad2 randomly cues for either Elbow 4 or 5. Striker sends the appropriate elbow, orients toward Pad2 and sends burst of strikes until cued to “RESET!” Returning to Retreating Punches.
Choke Rear w/ Push
DRILL – FINAL:
Same drill as above, but Pad2 can either cue for Elbow/Orient/Burst OR Choke Rear w/ Push.
NOTE: Pad1 must be prepared to get out of the way of push.
Ground – Arm Bar from Guard
Ground – Guard Reversal
Ground – Arm Bar from Mount
Ground – Arm Bar Defense
Guard Reversal + Arm Bar from Mount + Arm Bar Defense
Ground – Guillotine from Guard
Ground – Guillotine Defense
Guillotine from Guard + Guillotine Defense + Arm Bar from Mount* + Arm Bar Defense
*If proper Side Position/Knee to Chest transition is known do it, otherwise just get to Arm Bar
DRILL – FINAL: Free Rolling
Groups of 2, Striker, Padholder. Striker neutral, eyes closed. Padholder positions and gives verbal cue. Striker opens eyes and sends appropriate Chop + Finishing Strikes based on pad position, then resets.
Long Gun Front – Live Side
Long Gun Front – Dead Side
Long Gun Rear – Touching (Both sides)
DRILL – FINAL: Roaming Attackers
Groups of 3, Striker, Padholder, Attacker. Striker and Padhold perform drill above. Attackers roam, giving verbal cue from front or pressing gun into Striker’s back for defense.
