Palm Heel Strikes – try opposite stance
Elbow #1 – try opposite stance
Round Kick
Ground – Back Position
Ground – Front Kick
Ground – Round Kick
Ground – Get Up
Drill: defender starts on ground; makes front kick, then round kick, then gets up and punches until partner says “down!” and the drill restarts. Continue until the instructor calls “switch.”

Hook Punch – work different angles of hook punch, from a hook that is ALMOST an uppercut to a hook that is ALMOST an overhand punch.
Focus Mitt Combo: Left Uppercut/Right Hook/Left Hook
Outside Defense v. Right Punch (redirect/counter with left hand)
Bearhug from Behind (arms free)
Ground – Guard Reversal
Drill: groups of three; defender makes a combination to focus mitts; at any time, an attacker can come from behind and make Bearhug From Behind, Arms Free; if the defender makes a good defense, the attacker lets go; if the defender does not defend well, the attacker says “Down!” and the defender must allow the attacker to take him to the floor; the defender pulls guard, and makes the Guard Reversal. The defender gets up and the drill continues.

2 Straight Knees with a Switch
Knife Threat from Behind (defend like regular gun from behind)
Knife Threat from Behind (like machine gun takedown)
Light Sparring with open hands; at any time, an attacker may come from behind and make a knife threat.
