“Follow the Leader”
Drill: 2pp- Follower, Leader
-Round 1- Leader: Shuffle steps to the Right & Left, touch the floor
-Follower- Keep up and copy the leader
-Round 2-Leader: Move a little faster- Shuffle steps to the Right & Left, sprawl
-Follower: keep up & copy
-Round 3- Leader, same as above, faster and more sporadic movement. Goal is to make it challenging for the follower to Keep up and copy
– Follower: keep up & Copy. If you make a mistake, 5 Burpees
** Switch
Front kick to a vertical target
Knee strikes
Double knee Strikes
* Explain to the class-the reason for Double Knee strikes is to make sure we recover quickly after the initial knee strike.
Drill: 2ppl/kicking shield
Time & Go
Striker- On “Go”, non-stop knees
Striker- Stops striking but stays engaged and maintains control of their partner for the entire drill.
* If striker disengages the whole class does 10 Burpees..
Choke from Front with Push
Drill: -Defender eyes closed, slightly off balanced, Leaning back on Heels
-Attacker- Choke from front with a push
Ground- Back Position

Drill: Sloppy Plank Position
1- Practice sit throughs
2- Instructor- Call out R or L
3- Make it Challenging- Call out L&R combinations.. (ie: L,R,L,R,R)
4) Add push ups between each one
Advancing front Kick
Back Kick
Drill: 5ppl/ 4 Kicking shield
(Front kick to a vertical target, Back kick or side kicks.. )
Striker- In middle
Pad Holders- 2 to the side of striker, 1 in front and 1 behind and Call out strikers name.
Striker-when called, executes the proper kick
-The position of the Pad Holder determines the kick.
360 Defense
Reflexive Defense v. Front Kick
Choke from behind with a pull
Ground-Defense v. a Choke Full mount

Muay Thai
— Combo# 8- R-uppercutt/L-Hook/R-Cross
— Kicks-Round Kick low, Med, High-Right leg then Left Leg
–Basic Combo with kicks, knees, Elbows (Vary the level of kicks)
Sparring-Partner Drill
— 3 punch Combo- Partner Blocks and counters with a 3 punch combo
–Add- Uppercutts & Body Shots
–Add-Groin Kicks & Round Kicks
