DESCRIPTION:The KMA Force Level 1 Instructor Certification is designed for Krav Maga Alliance coaches and affiliates who want to teach\, implement\, and manage a professional Force program for law enforcement\, military\, and security professionals. \nThis course goes beyond technique review. The focus is on teaching methodology\, principles-based instruction\, and reality-based training\, ensuring instructors can confidently deliver Force material in a way that is practical\, defensible\, and effective under real-world conditions \nWho This Course Is For \n\n\nCurrent Krav Maga Alliance instructors \n\n\nAffiliates looking to add or grow a Force / LE training program \n\n\nCoaches who already understand the techniques and want to refine how they teach and apply them \n\n\n\n \n\n\nCourse Focus\nDuring the certification\, attendees will: \n\n\nRefine Level 1 Force techniques through coached application \n\n\nLearn the KMA Force teaching template and methodology \n\n\nBuild lesson plans and drills suitable for law enforcement environments \n\n\nPractice scenario-based and reality-based training \n\n\nLearn how to communicate effectively with officers and professional end users \n\n\nUnderstand use-of-force considerations and arrest/control principles \n\n\n\nCurriculum Overview\nThe course includes instruction and evaluation in areas such as: \n\n\nStriking fundamentals and defensive movement \n\n\nClinch work\, takedowns\, and ground control \n\n\nHandgun and knife defenses \n\n\nWeapon retention (holstered and deployed) \n\n\nArrest and control procedures \n\n\nUse-of-force decision making \n\n\nMock teaching and instructor evaluations \n\n\nPhysical and teaching proficiency testing \n\n\n\nPrerequisites\nTo attend\, participants must: \n\n\nBe a Krav Maga Alliance instructor \n\n\nHold a KMA Level 1 Instructor Certification \n\n\nHave a solid understanding of Krav Maga techniques\, including weapon defenses (Level 4 and above) \n\n\nArrive ready to train\, teach\, and be coached \n\n\n\nCertification Requirements\n\n\nSuccessful completion of all physical and teaching evaluations \n\n\nOC exposure (completed prior to or during the course) \n\n\nTASER exposure (completed prior to or during the course)Note: Exposure requirements may only be waived by a KMA Force Training Team member \n\n\nRecertification required every 2 years \n\n\n\nRequired Equipment\nAttendees are responsible for bringing the following: \n\n\nUtility / BDU-style pants \n\n\nSturdy belt (duty-style recommended) \n\n\nHolster (rigid material) \n\n\nHandcuffs and key \n\n\nTraining handgun (blue gun or equivalent) \n\n\nComfortable training shoes or boots \n\n\nChange of clothes for exposures \n\n\n\nImportant Notes\nThis course is physically and mentally demanding. Participants should disclose any injuries or medical concerns prior to training. Safety\, professionalism\, and respect for training partners are mandatory throughout the certification
