BEGINNER (A1)

DRILL – WARMUP: G&P Slow & GO!

Each student mounts a kickshield. On “GO!” send all out Hammerfists to pad. On “SWITCH!” must get up and find a new pad.

Hammerfist Side

Knees w/ Clinch

DRILL:

Grps 2, Striker, Padholder. Padholder cues Striker with pad tap on either side. Striker sends appropriate Hammerfist, orients and finishes with Knees then resets.

Choke Side

DRILL – FINAL:

Same as pad drill above, but Padholder can cue for strikes or apply Choke Side.

INTERMEDIATE (C1)

Hook Punch/Bas Combos (1-4)

Front Kick w/ Advance (Fighting/Neutral)

DRILL:

Gprs 2, Striker, Padholder. Padholder holds focus mitts for Advancing Front Kick + Bas 4. Reset.

Bearhug Front Arms Free (Space)

Bearhug Front Arms Free (Neck Leverage)

DRILL – FINAL:
Same strike combo as above, but Padholder can also apply either Bearhug. Reset.

ADVANCED (C1)

DRILL – WARMUP:

Grps 2, Striker, Padholder. Striker performs:

20s Pushups + 10s Straight Punches, 20s Squats + 10s Front Groin Kicks, 20s Alternating Knees to Elbow (in plank) + 10s Knees. Switch. If necessary, do two rounds per person.

GUNSTRAVAGANZA!!!!

Gun Front*

Gun Front 2 Handed*

Advanced Gun – Kneeling Position*

*Have attacker wear a focus mitt on non-gun hand. As defender is disarming, position pad for counters with the gun.
