BEGINNER CLASS (B2)

Straight Punches

Combo: Left/Right/Right

Combo: Left/Left/Right

360 – include counterattacks with straight punches or knees

Ground – Back Position

Ground – Front Kick

Ground – Get Up

Drill: groups of 3; ground movement, kick, and get up; defend 360, then punch a pad until pad holder calls time; reset on ground

 

INTERMEDIATE CLASS (D2)

Focus Mitts: 3 rounds of 3 minutes, alternating

360 with Counterattack

Inside Defense with Counter v. Left

Inside Defense with Counter v. Right (1 Counter)

Drill: attacker makes straight punches and 360 attacks; defender defends both, but only makes counters against 360

Drill: attacker makes straight punches and 360 attacks; defender defends both, but only makes counters against straight punches

 

ADVANCED CLASS (D2)

Focus Mitts 3 rounds of 2 minutes in opposite stance

Sparring: light sparring in opposite stance

Knife – Forward Slash

Knife – Back Slash

Drill: eyes closed; either slash
