Elbows 4 & 5
Straight Punch Low
Inside Defense vs. Low Straight Punch
Headlock from Behind
Drill: 1 attacker, 1 defender. Attacker has tombstone pad available nearby. Defender stands in passive stance with eyes closed. Attacker has the option to bump defender from behind with tombstone and hold for elbow 4 or 5, headlock from behind, or verbally get defender’s attention before bursting in with low straight punch.

Ground – Side Mount Position and Strikes
Ground – Side Mount to Full Mount
Ground – Side Mount Knee to Belly (disengage)
Drill: Groups of 3. 2 attackers, 1 defender. Both attackers should have kick shields available. Defender starts in mount on first attacker, works to side mount (showing strikes), then disengages using knee to belly. Second attacker is holding a kick shield for combatives. Defender throws flurry of various combatives until the pad holder calls, “DOWN!”. Attacker does 1 burpee while pad holder ditches the pad and lays down on the ground. Defender gets into mount on 2nd attacker and the drill repeats going back and forth between the two attackers. Note: Attackers should offer enough resistance when mounted to make transitions difficult, but not impossible.
