Straight Punches

Front Kick

Choke from the Front (2 hand)

360 – include counterattacks, either simultaneous (from Level 2) or after the defense

Drill: attacker chokes; defender makes the defense; after the initial counterattacks, the attacker steps back, then bursts forward with 360 (right hand only); defender defends and continues with counterattacks


Uppercut Punch

Focus Mitts: Left Upper/Right

Focus Mitts: Right Upper/Left Hook

Hammer fist Downward (review from Level 1)

Headlock from the Side (advanced students work both sides)



Thai Pads: 2 minute round, include sprawl

Thai Pads: 2 minute round, include sprawl into sit out, then get up

Gun from the Front

Advancing Front Kick (review)

Advancing Knee (review)

Knife Threat

Drill: eyes closed; either gun or knife threat from the front; add push for additional stress
