Beginner (A3)

Fighting Stance

Palm Heel Strike

Front Kick Groin

Combo: Front Kick Groin/Right/Left/Right Palm Heel Strikes

Choke from Behind

Advanced technique- Gun from Behind

Drill- Punches non stop; Attacker makes Choke from Behind or Gun from Behind

 

Intermediate (C3) 

Distance continuum – work combination of front kick, straight punches, elbows, knees, head butts moving into target, and then back out

Outside Slap Kick

Outside Slap kick followed by a Straight punch

Defense v. High Round Kick (Covering)

Focus Mitts:

– Combo #5- Jab, Cross, Hook, Cross, L- Uppercut

– Pad- Holder- At any given time, High Round Kick

– Striker- Make the appropriate defense

Ground-Trap and Roll

Ground- Def. V. Choke Full Mount

 

Advanced (C3)

Thai Pads: 3 Rounds of 3 minutes/30 Sec Rest

**5 Burpees, During Rest

Round 1- Basic Combinations + Kicks- Double up on the last technique

Round 2- Opposite Side/South Paw

– Basic Combinations + Kicks-

Double up on the last technique

Round 3- Basic Combinations-w/Kicks

– Double up on the last technique

-Add Sprawl (Change fighting stance after every sprawl)

-Last 30 sec- Non stop kicks (R&L)

Light Sparring Drill:

A) 1 person defends/1 person Attacks

Punches only:

-Moving/Blocking- No counters

Kicks only:

-Moving/Blocking- No counters

B) Light Sparring- Punches: Move/Defend and  counter

Punches & Kicks:  Move/Defend and counter

Gun from Behind-Touching

Gun from Side or Behind, assailant using off hand
